As part of the ongoing development of the King's Village Project, a vocational training centre is currently being constructed.

The centre will be used to help provide vital training skills to local adults, particularly those of school-leaving age.  The vocational training will include carpentry, tie-dye and tailoring.

The objective is to equip local people to begin their own businesses and help to bring economic regeneration to the community.

Alongside the training centre, a new micro-loan initiative is currently being developed.  Local people are being given the opportunity and support to develop small business ideas and to receive loans and advice to help make them a reality.
